Because she was voted the TopSong for the month of October 2006, Nora was invited to attend the next TopRTK show programme and answer a few questions made by the moderators Fitore Rexhepi & Erleta Hoti and fans who sent questions by email or live via telephone. As part of the show, a video material has been shown, giving highlights of Nora Istrefi's career since her first appearance in TopRTK in 2003.

For a second time this year, Nora wins TopRTK pop chart, in yesterday's show. First in April 06 and now again in October 06. Nora sang this title in July's concert "Hello America" and now she released this new videoclip of the same song to announce her come back to the top of the music list, after a slight drawback she experienced after release of her second album "Opium" this year in July 2006.

Nora Istrefi Interview TopRTK

Nora Istrefi is at the peak of her career that literally has just started. We've seen awards after awards in the past months and yet again, just recently was voted by tv viewers of the Top RTK show, the Top Song for the month of April 2006. Looks that great successful future in the show biz is awaiting for Nora Istrefi. She gives answers to few questions that were sent in by her fans. She reveals the following: she is 20 years old... studies fashion design... appearing on MTV is one of her dreams... not married, not engaged and guess what, no boyfriend either... hmmm... well guys, she is still awaiting for the right prince (impress her with your comment here in this blog in what ever language you like, you never know)... 2nd album to be released mid June 2006 ...new video clip coming soon aswell etc.

Best Pop to Nora Istrefi - Video Fest 2006

Music Video Fest 2006 is another popular albanian music festival (albanian music industry is booming!), held in Prishtina (capital city of Kosova) every year around April (started 2003), where best music video clips of previous year are judged in 16 categories. Fest is organised by Errold Belegu and the coauthor of the original idea, Teuta Krasniqi. In this year's Video Fest 2006, held at the "National Theatre" in Prishtina, on 24th April 2006, Nora Istrefi was voted "Best Pop" with her video clip "Negativ". Digitalb Award to Nora Istrefi - Top Fest 3

Nora received "DIGITALB" award with her song "Nuk Mundem", in this year's Top Fest 3 Music Festival.

Top Fest is one of the most popular albanian music festival (something like MTV Music Awards) and third edition was organised this year (hence Top Fest 3), gathering in Tirana hundreds of talented albanian singers, bands and musicians from accross all regions inhabited by albanians in the ballkans (Albania, Kosova, Montenegro, Macedonia etc.) and beyond. Though albanians as one nation in the course of history were divided by foreign great powers, it is the music and events like this, that unite them more than ever. Participation and interest in this musical festival has been tremendous and it is now expected to be organised every year. The festival is managed & televised by leading albanian tv channel "Top Channel" (http://www.top-channel.tv).
